Justin and his dad Bryan have worked together for over 20 years in various industries including professional land grading and diesel truck repair, operating with the core values of honesty and integrity.
Our mission is to provide you quick and efficient service with our industry-specific equipment.
MGBC gives everybody an opportunity to have access to quality and affordable land/property maintenance with state-of-the-art equipment designed to stand up to the challenge and provide the most bang for your buck.
Our 2 ASV 135-F forestry units have 132 horsepower Cummins diesel engines, which helps generate a constant 52 gpm flow rate in our hydraulic system. Both units are fitted and power a Denis Cimaf 180D forestry mulcher that spins at around 2500 RPM. The hydraulic cooling systems in these machines are important especially down here in the south where it can be hot and extremely humid in the summer months. The hydraulic cooling system can handle a 100% load at 118 degrees Fahrenheit all day without the need to stop and cool down. That downtime can add up to a lot if you’re paying an hourly rate.
The horsepower and flow rate combined in these machines is important here. It allows us to chew through trees up to 12 inches in diameter while maintaining optimal mulcher head RPMs. What does that mean? If the base machine can’t handle the capabilities of the mulcher head, the head itself will stall more often. When there is a stall, the machine has to spend time recovering momentum of the drumhead instead of grinding. If your mulcher head is constantly stalling, it’s constantly straining the hydraulic system; generating excessive heat. Excessive heat can cause a machine not specifically designed for forestry mulching to need to stop and cool off, costing more time. Being specifically designed for the forestry heads, this is where our machines outperform the competitors.
